Terms of use
These terms are the deal between you and UAB Elvis Group (company code 305268496, VAT LT100014800616, Vėjo g. 12-2, LT-91276 Klaipėdos r., Lithuania) (“we”) when you use the Lupiko app and lupiko.app. We kept them as short and readable as we could. By downloading or using Lupiko you agree to them. Questions? hello@lupiko.app.
The short version
- Lupiko helps you spend less time in the apps you choose. It’s a tool, not a doctor.
- Subscriptions run through Apple and renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple.
- Lupiko relies on Apple’s Screen Time system, which sometimes has bugs. We do our best, but can’t promise every block works every single time.
- Be nice: don’t hack, copy or resell Lupiko.
What Lupiko is
Lupiko is an app for iPhone and iPad that uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to block the apps and websites you pick, on the schedule you set, with a mascot that reacts to your habits. To work, it needs your permission for Screen Time. You can take that permission away at any time in iOS Settings, and then blocking stops.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13. If you’re under the age of adulthood where you live, please use Lupiko with a parent’s or guardian’s okay, especially before buying a subscription.
Subscriptions and free trials
- Some features need a paid subscription. The plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you won’t be charged.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time: iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- If we ever change the price, Apple will let you know beforehand and, where required, ask for your consent.
Refunds and your right to withdraw
Apple sells the subscription, so refunds go through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. If you live in the EU or UK, you also have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase under Apple’s terms. Just ask Apple at the same link. If you have trouble, write to us and we’ll help where we can.
Lupiko is not medical advice
Lupiko is a self-help tool. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. Numbers like “hours of your life” are rough estimates to motivate you, not facts about your health. If you feel your phone use is seriously hurting your life, talk to a doctor or another professional.
What we can and can’t promise
We work hard to make blocking reliable, but Lupiko depends on Apple’s Screen Time system, iOS updates and your device settings, which we don’t control. Sometimes a block may start late, not show up, or be bypassed. Lupiko also can’t stop you from switching it off: that’s your right. Please don’t rely on Lupiko where blocking or not blocking something really matters, such as reaching emergency services or apps you need for work, school or health.
We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove something important you paid for, we’ll give you notice and you can cancel.
Fair use
Please don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell Lupiko, try to get around the subscription, misuse our servers, or use the app to control someone else’s phone without their permission. Lupiko, the mascot, the design and the content belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms.
Liability
We are fully liable for damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law doesn’t allow limits (for example under product liability law). For slight negligence we are only liable if we break an essential duty of these terms, and only for typical, foreseeable damage. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights for faulty digital products, stay untouched.
About Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Lupiko or its content, has no duty to provide support or maintenance, and isn’t responsible for any claims about the app (such as product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property). If Lupiko fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty duty. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement where it doesn’t conflict with these terms, and confirm you’re not in a country or on a list that US or EU sanctions prohibit.
Privacy
How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy. Short version: your Screen Time data stays on your phone.
Changes and ending
You can stop using Lupiko any time: cancel the subscription and delete the app. If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and, for important changes, tell you in the app in advance. If you keep using Lupiko after that, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. If you’re a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can go to court there. But honestly, just email us first at hello@lupiko.app. Most things get sorted in one reply.
